Last week the YFCU Home Management Finals Competition took place over Zoom Virtual Communication. The Home Management Competition is kindly sponsored by our long standing sponsor Ulster Pork and Bacon Forum.
The theme of this year’s competition final was: ‘Building Great Rural Communities Post Covid’ where members are tasked with; creating a two course meal that supports local produce. Paula McIntrye, YFCU judge, ‘The YFCU Home Management competition is a celebration of great cooking and Northern Irish pork. The remit for the competition was to cook pork dishes and a pudding. The standard as always was excellent - quality of dishes and the thought put into them was amazing. It was an extremely hard job to judge this year - the competitors had put so much effort into their dishes and I was blown away by the standard’
YFCU would like to give a special thank you to Paula McIntyre for judging the Home Management Competition.
