ree

The Build It Final at this year’s Limavady Show proved to be a highlight of the weekend, with Young Farmers’ Clubs from across the country showcasing their skills, creativity, and teamwork in a fast-paced and engaging competition.

Held at the County Londonderry stand beside the main arena, the event drew a fantastic crowd of supporters and spectators. The energy was high as the teams got to work, and the results were nothing short of impressive.

After a tough competition and some truly creative builds, the final results were as follows:

  • 1st Place – Cookstown YFC

  • 2nd Place – Randalstown YFC

  • 3rd Place – Moneymore YFC

  • 4th Place – Annaclone & Magherally YFC

The judging was carried out by Matthew Thompson, who had the challenging task of selecting winners from a strong field of entries. Each team demonstrated incredible planning, craftsmanship, and team coordination.

We were delighted to welcome Amy Bennington from Power NI, our valued competition sponsor, who attended the event and presented the awards. Power NI’s continued support plays a vital role in making opportunities like this possible for our members, and we extend our sincere thanks for their commitment to youth development.

The Build It competition is a fantastic example of how Young Farmers’ Clubs encourage practical skills, problem-solving, and teamwork — all while having fun and connecting with others. Congratulations to all the teams who took part, and well done on representing your clubs with pride and enthusiasm!

We look forward to seeing what next year’s competition brings!
