AQA Unit Award Scheme

YFCU members can earn recognition for their achievements through the AQA Unit Award Scheme. Registration for the scheme is just £10.00 and there is no extra work to complete, as points are earned from volunteering as a top official or taking part in competitions such as Stock Judging, Drama, Football,  Choir Festival, Tag Rugby, Floral Art and much more.

Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme

DofE is non-competitive and everyone aged 14-24 is welcome to take part, whatever your interests, background and abilities. It’s about finding the confidence to be yourself, knowing that when things get tough, you can find a way through. There is a £35.00 participation fee for the Bronze and Silver awards and a £40.00 fee for the Gold award.

YFCU President's Award Scheme

The President’s Award aims to recognise YFCU members who put a lot of their time and energy into the organisation. The format for 2025 has changed and members are being asked to complete an online form, explaining why they should receive the award, in no more than 500 words. Members who wouldn’t normally apply are strongly encouraged to register their interest.
