YFCU You Tube series 2013
The YFCU You Tube series has come to an end but the episodes are still receiving remarkable hits online. The first episode went online on Wednesday 11th September and every fortnight, new episodes were uploaded showcasing what YFCU is all about.
The series started with coverage of the YFCU Stockjudging finals held at Greenmount during the summer and continued with footage from the NI Rally Day at Loughry, the Rural Women in Business event held at Stormont in October as well as the NI Ploughing Championships and the 5 Nations meeting that YFCU hosted in November.
YFCU President Martyn Blair said, “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to produce a series giving an insight into all the various aspects of our Association. I would encourage past and present members, sponsors, family and friends if they haven’t already done so, to check out all the episodes online.
“We received a great response to the series right from the pilot programmet that was filmed during Balmoral Show. We were able to promote the programmes online through the YFCU's Facebook page and my Twitter account (@YFCUpresident). To date, overall series views have reached over 8,000 hits. It has been a great medium for people to learn about the YFCU and get a better understanding of what we are involved in at both a central and a local club level. The series featured the broad range of our training and skills development opportunities and gave a flavour of the international family that the Association belongs to.”
The series was filmed and directed by Belfast based Production Company and was presented by Stuart McQuitty. To watch episodes from the series, visit www.youtube.com/YFCUlster.
