Store Person– Roofing Accessories

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for receiving and checking all deliveries, ensuring all stock is stored in the correct manner and will keep an accurate record and report any shortages of roofing accessory goods. They will have a strong focus on customer care and great attention to detail.

Duties and responsibilities
• Receive incoming goods, check for damage, discrepancies between goods received and ordered.
• Conduct monthly stock takes
• Prepare, package and dispatch outgoing goods daily.
• Liaise with sales dispatch and roofing for sales of roofing accessories.
• General housekeeping and maintained storage racks.
• Hours of work: Monday– Friday 7.00am– 4.30pm

Travel Requirements:
This position will be based at Toombridge

A Fork-Lift license would be desirable, training given if required.
An understanding of roofing products would be desirable, but training will be provided
Roofing accessory training will be given in-house.

Good timekeeping and attendance and the flexibility to work overtime as and when required.

Awareness of the importance of meeting the Company’s standards on Health and Safety, product quality, and customer service.
Ability to work well within a team.
Ability to maintain good standards of housekeeping in the yard and stores.
