Job purpose:
- To provide administrative support to the CEO and the Business Services Manager in relation to Funding Streams, Strategic Planning and CEO Office
- Assist with information gathering for Monthly Reports (Internal), Half Yearly and Annual Reports (External)
- To provide administrative support in areas such as telephone answering, data input, stationery, filing, Access NI and Committee admin.
- Provide support to the Finance Manager including collating information for Club Accounts, Audit, and Treasurer support

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Assist with the collation of data in relation to DAERA and EA and other funded projects
• Create surveys and evaluation forms to measure programme impacts and collate returns and manage the results.
• Liaise with the Marketing Executive to include copies of all publicity materials, photographs, social media activity and press releases relating to the programmes
• Work with an external consultant to embed an Impact Methodology into meetings and reports
• Assist with information collation to produce written reports on projects for funding partners
• Work with CEO in relation to the completion of the 2024-27 Strategic plan
• Assist with daily operations and facilities within the office including, but not limited to, answering the phone and dealing with queries in relation to the role, managing basic filing and office management tasks for the role and CEO and Business Services Manager
• Responsible for stationery and office equipment
• Working with the Programmes team in relation to data input and management
• Other general office roles as required
• Other ad hoc financial duties as required

Club Accounts Responsibilities
• Assist the Finance Manager with collation of information on individual club accounts
• Responsible for training Club and County Treasurers
• Management of club returns to include; receipt in a timely fashion, collation of required materials, balancing off accounts and fixed assets management

The key responsibilities above give a broad outline of the functions of the post. However, these duties must be approached in a flexible manner. The post holder will be expected to adapt to changing circumstances and undertake other duties appropriate to the grade of the post as allocated by your line manager as part of working in a small team to deliver for YFCU from time to time.

Person Specification
•GCSE level English and Maths in grade C or above
• Accounting Technician Qualification (IATI) or equivalent

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role involving accounts to the final stage
• 2 years’ experience of working in a finance role in an office environment
• Experience of working with young people

• High literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT skills, (particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Attention to detail
• Proven ability to meet deadlines

•Comprehensive understanding of spreadsheet and financial information
• Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures

• Full driving licence and access to a car for business purposes or access to a form of transport that will meet the travel requirements of the post.
