Earn recognition for achievements with the AQA Unit Award Scheme . . .

Cultivating Young Leaders Logo (5).png

The AQA Unit Award Scheme is a unique way to record learner achievement, allowing YFCU members to have their achievements formally recognised. Members are rewarded with a certificate each time they successfully complete a unit of learning.

The AQA Unit Award Scheme is open to all fully paid YFCU members aged 12 - 30. There is a participation fee of £10.00 and the extra costs are covered through the Reta Lila Howard Foundation. Members can collect as many awards as they like and can build up a portfolio of certificates to evidence their skills, knowlege and experience. This scheme increases engagement and improves motivation, helping learners to progress on their lifelong learning journey. There is no extra work to be completed, as points are earned through volunteering and taking part in competitions, such as Stock Judging, Tag Rugby, Football, Public Speaking, Drama and Floral Art.
