Exchange Programme
Do you enjoy meeting people? Are you interested in travel, foreign culture, rural lifestyle and agriculture abroad?
If so then the YFCU Exchange programme is for you.
The YFCU Exchange Programme offers members of the Association the opportunity to travel on a unique exchange opportunity to countries worldwide.
Members can travel to USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Austria and Norway on 'long-term' exchanges and they can also travel on 'short-term' exchanges to England, Scotland and Wales.
Here are some photos of recent exchangees: Ruth Blackburn (Seskinore YFC) during her exchange to Tasmania, Alice Cunningham (Cookstown YFC) who travelled to Montana, USA and Hilary Cameron (Coleraine YFC) who went on exchange to Canada.

European Rally
The European Rally, hosted by Rural Youth Europe, takes place each year. It has a long history with the first rally taking place in the Netherlands in 1960. Each year YFCU sends a team to take part in the rally.
Team members have the opportunity to share best practice, attend workshops and learn more about the other young farmer clubs that are attending from throughout Europe. They then bring this knowledge back and share it with our members.
The 2012 rally will be held 4th - 11th August in Zerkow, Poland. The theme for this year's rally is youth leadership in rural communities.
